The auction listing describes a lodge with guest rooms and a commercial kitchen, two round buildings with gathering spaces, two houses, a pond, and walking paths.

What still needs to be established

A viable buyer, purchase price, inspection findings, restoration budget, operating plan, and long-term leadership. There is no verified live bid or professional restoration estimate on this site.

Adam was quoted approximately $2.4 million as a listed/appraised figure—not a predicted sale price. At the open house, the auctioneer expected much less and said a reserve exists. Its amount has not been confirmed.

Honoring God first. Continuing Margee’s legacy.

Adam began this independent effort to help preserve the retreat’s spiritual purpose, with no aim of personal gain. He would not be its owner or ongoing operator. The hope is for a trust or another lasting arrangement to protect that purpose for future generations. Could you take the reins, or help share the responsibility?

The proposal has no established buyer, committed funding, or trust. This site does not speak for Margee’s family, Loyola University Maryland, or the seller.
